20 April, 2016: official premiere of my book "Narration in Graphic Novels"

On 20th April 2016 my book "Narration in Graphic Novels​" ​is to be published by the Polish Scientific Publishers PWN , 2015

​On 450 pages I present the current status of discussions on the graphic novels, commenting on the 371 original source texts from the research areas from the USA, Western Europe, Central and Eastern Europe and I propose brand new research tools, terms and concepts. I analyze American and European graphic novels.

This is the first book entirely and exclusively devoted to the narrative in a graphic novel, and why it is the first one, I explain in the Introduction.

The book is recommended by Tomasz Kołodziejczak, graphic novel and comic book publisher, the winner of the Papcio Chmiel Award (Nagroda im. Papcia Chmiela) for his cultural activities for comics in Poland and awarded the Decoration of Honor "Meritorius for Polish Culture" (odznaka Zasłużony dla Kultury Polskiej) by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of the Republic of Poland and also awarded the Gold Cross of Merit (Złoty Krzyż Zasługi).
