![]() On 2nd October, in open a few days earlier Praga Koneser Centre, as part of “London Outsider” vernissage, the exhibition of London photography, I had the pleasure of chairing a short meeting with its author, Bartosz Maciejewski. During the vernissage, we talked about his style, characteristic of him combining photography with painting and his passion for big-city as the main theme of his photography. I shared also my observations that Maciejewski in his works sometimes approaches to metaphysical art, close to "Melancholy and Mystery of a Street" by Giorgio de Chirico or to the aesthetics of the painter of a street - Marek Włodarski and I am referring, for example, to the painting “Composition with two cyclists”. More about art at my blog Wernisażeria, the first lifestyle blog about art & vernissages, becuase culture and art are the way of life, not fashion. I write extensive feuilletons about vernissages: subjective, substantive, full of surprising digressions and specific humor texts on exhibitions, art, culture, history and literature.
