My statement on the current trend on the internet - becoming self-appointed experts of everything - in the last weekend edition of “Rzeczpospolita”

In the last issue of "Plus Minus", the weekend edition of "Rzeczpospolita", there is my statement about the theme issue: Samozwańczy eksperci od wszystkiego [Self-appointed experts of everything], a growing trend on the internet - becoming self-appointed experts of everything.

The starting point was the reaction of internet users to information regarding Tomasz Mackiewicz and Elizabeth Revol - a tragedy on Nanga Parbat.
 
In Artur Bartkiewicz’s article Morze informacji, Himalaje ignorancji  [Sea of Information, the Himalayas of ignorance] I considered  Infocalypse, the flood of a new generation of fake news, which is made possible by technical achievements,  cognitive biases, threats resulting from staying in filter bubbles and lack of instances verifying the authenticity of information available on the internet.

Once again, I pay attention to start internet education in schools or even in preschools nowadays.
